The 12th World Congress of Microcirculation was successfully held in Beijing from September 20th to 24th, 2023. The conference was authorized by the International Liaison Committee on Microcirculation (ILCM) and co-hosted by the Chinese Society for Microcirculation and ILCM. The conference brought together scholars and young scientists from various disciplines such as microcirculation, basic and clinical sciences, drug research, integrative medicine, and emerging technologies. It focused on the microcirculatory disturbances in major diseases, chronic diseases, and newly emerging infectious diseases, aiming to exchange new ideas, methods, and advances in microcirculation research. It provided a platform for communication and collaboration between basic and clinical sciences, medicine and pharmacy, and multiple disciplines.
The conference was held both online and offline. A total of 164 scholars and young scientists presented their speeches in 41 symposia organized by the American, European, Japanese, Australian/New Zealand, and Chinese Societies for Microcirculation. In addition, 28 young scientists delivered presentations in 7 youth symposia organized by the American, European, Australian/New Zealand, Japanese, and Chinese Societies for Microcirculation.
China Gate Scientific was invited to participate in this congress and showcased equipment including the DMT in vitro microvessel and myograph system, Oxford Optronix tissue oxygen and blood flow perfusion system, and Indus system for blood flow dynamics measurement in mice. During the conference, we engaged in extensive discussions and in-depth exchanges with attending researchers on academic and application-related topics.
